Xactools is a medium-sized Swabian company based in Bönnigheim that specialises in automation, measurement and inspection systems. Whether handling, measurement, quality assurance or palletising — Xactools delivers customised complete solutions that can be integrated into existing production lines. 

Joint customer story – Seco ‘Quickly trained, sharply inspected’

A particularly convincing example is the project with Seco Tools, a leading global manufacturer of cutting tools. Together, a fully automated system for handling and inspecting cutting inserts (‘indexable inserts’) was developed using eight high-resolution industrial cameras and two spider robots. DENKnet forms the heart of the image analysis and enables almost all variants of the more than 2,800 products to be monitored efficiently. At the beginning of the month, we had another special event: our annual team event. 

Four teams competed against each other in the ‘Highland Games’ and gave their all with creativity, strength and skill. 

The weather and atmosphere were great. And everyone felt very comfortable in their makeshift kilts. 😄

In the end, the best team at DENKbar was ‘Kobra Kai’.
